Good Morning WyGEO,

As most of you know tomorrow is National GIS Day!  There are many events being held across the state which offer all of us the chance to come together and celebrate as a GeoSpatial community.   I have provided a link to a WyGEO calendar page outlining tomorrows events.  Simply click on the city nearest you for further information.  Additionally, if you know of other events occurring tomorrow – feel free to use the WyGEO list serve to spread the word.

Please join us at WyGISC for a Geospatial Technology Showcase on GIS Day on Wednesday, November 14^th in room 316 of the Agriculture building.  The showcase features 3 sessions, the first starting at 12:10 pm, followed by a lecture at 4:00 pm in the Agriculture auditorium.  Please see the attached flyer for topics and details.  Refreshments will be available.

Geospatial Forum Series   The National Map Data Delivery Services Barb Ray Geospatial Liaison for Wyoming, National Geospatial Program, US GEOLOGICAL SURVEY   Friday, Nov 9th, 2012 Ag C (Old Ag Building) 316, 12:00pm – 1:00pm This talk will provide an overview of how The National Map web services and data download capabilities can be easily accessed and used to support a variety of project needs. Emphasis will be on use of The National Map viewer, learning how to download and access The National Map data and understanding the variety of new web map services that are available.
